Matt’s writing blends a background in philosophy with a love for fantasy stories that go beyond the cliches. The result is fantasy worlds rooted in real-world issues.

When he’s not writing, Matt enjoys exploring outdoors, playing intense strategy board games, reading, playing video games with his kids, cooking up new and exciting foods, and planning his family’s next adventure with his wife, Lindsay.

Matt is currently working on a follow up to his debut novel, The Death of a Songbird, as well as a few other writing projects that are well underway.
